Length of the train= Time taken by train to cross a stationary thing × it’s speed

Time taken to cross the stationary man = 10 sec

∴ Length of the train = 10 × 45 m = 450 m

For crossing the platform, total distance covered by train = 1800 + 450 = 2250m

Speed of the train = 45 m/s

∴ Time taken by the train to cross the platform = 2250/45 = 50 sec
