⇒ Length of train = 2 × Length of platform   

Let the length of the platform be x meters

⇒ Time taken to cross the platform = (Length of the train + Length of the platform)/Speed of the train

⇒ 30 = (2x + x)/25       

⇒ 750 = 3x

⇒ x = 250m

∴ Length of the train = 2x = 500 m
