Correct Answer Rs. 60

Solution:

Given:

Price of gloves in Shop A is 600

Price of gloves in shop B is 640

Discount offered in Shop B is 25%

Gulshan resold gloves at 10% loss

Calculation:

Gulshan sold the pair of gloves at Rs. 600 × 90%

⇒ Gulshan sold the pair of gloves at Rs. 540

Gulshan bought the pair of gloves from shop B at Rs. 640 × 75%

⇒ Gulshan bought the pair of gloves from shop B at Rs. 480

Total savings = Rs. 540 – 480

∴ Gulshan saves Rs. 60
