Correct Answer Rs. 336
A sold a table to B at a profit of 40%.
B sold it to D at a profit of 60%.
W sold a chair L to X at the loss of 20%.
X sold it to P at a loss of 30% and finally, P sold it to G at a loss of 50%.
Price at which W bought the chair = Rs. 600
The price is given by X = 600 - 20% of 600
= 80% of 600
= Rs. 480
The price is given by P = 480 - 30% of 480
= 70% of 480
= Rs. 336
According to question;
Price of the table given by D = Price of chair given by P
Price of the table given by D = Rs. 336
Hence, 336 is the correct answer.
