Let Reetu's age 10 years ago be 'x' years.

Then, her mother's age 10 years ago = 5x years

(x + 10) + 6 = 3/7 ×  

x + 16 = 3/7 (5x + 16)

7x + 112 = 15x + 48

8x = 64

x = 8

Therefore, Reetu's mother's present age = (5x + 10) = (5 × 8 + 10) years = 50 years
