One thing I always tell clients is that I'm not in favor of diets. I actually don't believe in diets because they lend themselves to short-term results at best. And almost every diet results in a rebound effect that puts people back where they started, which demotivates them. Instead of dieting, I recommend people analyze what they're eating and come up with a plan that will let them enjoy their life but also improve their health and nutrition.
