Unfortunately, losing 30 pounds in a month isn't healthy and even if you did it, you'd gain it right back when you went back to eating normally. You'd likely gain extra, as crash dieting often screws up your metabolism. If you are serious about becoming leaner, you need to make a commitment to slow and steady progress through small and sustainable lifestyle changes. Start by upping your water intake and eating a salad before dinner each day. Choose a form of exercise and aim for working out 3 times a week. Then start cutting out fried and processed foods more and more until you're eating them once a week or less. Add in other forms of exercise. Substitute processed snack foods for fresh fruit and protein-rich foods like Greek yogurt and nuts. Trying to do it all at once will be too much and you'll give up and feel like a failure. By being disciplined and realistic, you can lose the extra weight and learn habits that will help you keep it off for a lifetime.
