Option 3 : Statement I and Statement II together are sufficient to answer the question.

Statement I and II:

Suppose the quantities of petrol and kerosene oil are ‘x’ and ‘y’ litres;

∴ 1.2 × (70x + 50y) = 80 × (x + y)

⇒ 84x + 60y = 80x + 80y

⇒ 4x = 20y

⇒ x : y = 5 : 1

∴ Ratio of petrol and kerosene oil in the mixture = 5 : 1

Statement III is not required to get the answer.

∴ Statement I and Statement II together are sufficient to answer the question
