Option 3 : Statement (II) alone is sufficient

P, Q and R started a business with capital in the ratio 4 ∶ 3 ∶ 6

Statement II:

R gets Rs. 600 from the profit as a monthly salary and his total salary turns out to be 10% of the annual profit

Suppose total profit is Rs. x

According to statement

⇒ 600 × 12 = 0.1x

⇒ 0.1x = 7200

⇒ x = Rs. 72000

⇒ Total profit = Rs. 72000

Now, the share of Q can be determined as the ratio of profit is same as ratio of investment

Statement I:

R left after 6 months withdrawing his capital.

It is an additional condition but it is not the statement which is necessary to answer the question

Statement III:

P invested Rs. 45000 in the business

This statement is of no use as we already have the ratio of investment

∴ Statement (II) alone is sufficient to answer the question
