Given:
A : B = 4 : 5
B : C = 4 : 5
C : D = 4 : 5
B’s share = 1600
Calculation:
B : C = 4 : 5
4 ⇒ 1600
5 ⇒ (1600/4) × 5 = 2000
∴ C’s share = 2000
Now,
C : D = 4 : 5
4 ⇒ 2000
5 ⇒ (2000/4) × 5 = 2500
∴ D’s share = 2500
