Quantity I:

⇒ Boy’s share = (6 / 20) × 10,000

Let prize earn by boy is X

⇒ prize earn by girl = X + 500

⇒ 10,000 = X + (X + 500) + (X + 500)

⇒ 10,000 = 3X + 1000
