The pie chart given below shows the amount spent by a boy on the purchase of six different items. The total amount spent on all these six items is Rs. 54000. The ratio of the amount spent on article B to the amount spent on article E is 4 : 1. Correct Answer Only I

Given:

The total amount spent on all these six items is Rs. 54000.

Calculation:

Option A say, the amount spent on article A is Rs.900 less than the amount spent on article B. The difference between angle of A and B is 6°.

(6°/360°) × 100 = Rs.900

Option B say, the amount spent on article C is Rs 2400 more than the amount spent on article D. The difference between angle of C and D = 18°.

(18°/360°) × 100 = 2700 not equal to 2400 hence wrong.

Option C say, the ratio of the amount spent on article B to the amount spent on article E is 4 : 1. The ratio of angle of B : E = 30:  120.

⇒1 : 4 which is not equal to 4 : 1 hence wrong.

∴ Option B is correct.
