Average age of father and mother is 68 and average age of son and daughter is 33.

Formula used:

Average age = Total age / No of person

Calculation:

Total age of father and mother = 2 × 68 = 136

Total age of son and daughter = 2 × 33 = 66

So total age of all family members = 136 + 66 = 202

No of persons in family = 4

Average age = Total age/No of person

⇒ 202/4

⇒ 50.5

∴ The average age of all family members is 50 years 6 months.
