Pillu defeats Billu by 30 metre

Calculation:

Let Pillu runs 200 metres in some finite time.

Because Pillu defeats Chillu by 20 metres, so

In that time distance covered by Chillu = 200 – 20 = 180 metre

Because Pillu defeats Billu by 30 metres

In that time distance covered by Billu = 200 – 30 = 170 metre

So, the ratio of the speed of Pillu, Chillu, and Billu = 200 ∶ 180 ∶ 170

⇒ 20 ∶ 18 ∶ 17

So, by the ratio of the speed

In the same time in which Chillu covers 18 metres, Billu will cover 17 metres.

So, in the same time in which Chillu covers 360 metres, Billu will cover

⇒ (17/18) × 360 = 340 metre

So, Chillu will defeat Billu in 360 metre race by = 360 – 340 = 20 metre

∴ Chillu will defeat Billu by 20 metres.
