Let the initial amount be 100%

Money gave to his wife = 45%

Remaining amount = 100 – 45 = 55%

⇒ 11

The remaining amount after giving to his daughter = 55 – 11

⇒ 44

Now 50% of the remaining amount spent on other expenses

⇒ 44 × 50/100

⇒ 22

Remaining amount = 44 – 22

⇒ 22%

⇒ 22% = 11000

⇒ 100% = ?

⇒ Initial amount = (11000 × 100)/22
