Formula used:

Average of n numbers = Sum of all numbers/n

Calculation:

Total number of passengers travelling from Delhi to T, U and V = 16 + 15 + 22 = 53%

Total number of passengers travelling from Delhi to T, U and V = (53/100) × 24000 = 12720

∴ Average number of passengers travelling from Delhi to cities T, U and V = 12720/3 = 4240
