Calculation:

Checking I:

Number of students in A = (18/100) × 63000 = 11340

Number of students in F = (16/100) × 63000 = 10080

A : F = 11340 : 10080 = 9 : 8

Checking II:

Number of students in A = (18/100) × 63000 = 11340

Number of students in C = (15/100) × 63000 = 9450

A - C = 11340 - 9450 = 1890

⇒ Statement II is true
