The pie chart given below shows the salary given by a company to its seven employees. The total salary given by the company to all its employees is Rs. 720000 salaries spent on a particular employee is shown in terms of degree with respect to the total salary spent on all these seven employees. J1 = Values of total salary given to Q, R and S J2 = Value of total salary given to T, U and V J3 = Value of difference of salary of Q and R What is the value of (J2 – J1 – J3)? Correct Answer Rs. 220000

Given:

The angle of Q's salary = 48°

The angle of R's salary = 16°

The angle of S's salary = 36°

The angle of T's salary = 72°

The angle of U's salary = 108°

The angle of V's salary = 62°

Concept:

1° in a circle  = 1/360°

Calculation:

⇒ J1 = 48° + 16° + 36°  = 100°

⇒ J2 = 72° + 108° + 62° = 242°

⇒ J3 = 48° - 16° = 32°

⇒ (J2 – J1 – J3) = 242° - 100° - 32° = 242°  - 132° = 110°

⇒ The numerical value of 110° = (110°/360°) × 720000 = 220000

∴ The required result will be 220000.
