- An Audit is an examination of financial information or the state of any organization or entity.
- It is done for making opinions in the financial reports, to ascertain the accuracy of financial statements proved by the organization.
There are 3 types of audit:-
- External audits
- Internal audits
- Internal revenue audits
Research is the process of sequential inquiry that consist of data collection, critical documentation, and analysis of data in accordance with sets by specific professional fields.
Types of research:-
- Exploratory
- Descriptive
- Casual
It plays a vital role in discovering new options at hand
- Research creates new knowledge about what works and what is best; a clinical audit tells us if we are following current best practices.
- Research can involve patients trying an untested treatment method; clinical audit never involves patients trying new treatment methods.
