Price of dried fish = Rs. 80 per kg

Formula Used:

Earning (Profit) = Selling Price – Cost Price

Calculation:

Total cost of fresh fish = 1500 × 25 = Rs. 37,500

Weight of dried fish = 1500/3 = 500 kg

Total cost of dried fish = 500 × 80 = Rs. 40,000

∴ Earning = 40000 – 37500 = Rs. 2,500
