Let, the unit price of each gram of sugar be Rs. 1

∴ Cost price of 1000 gram of sugar = Rs. 1000

Dishonest shopkeeper cheats the wholesaler,

∴ He buys 1100 gram in Rs. 1000

As he cheats at the time of sales also that is 900 gram in place of 1000 gram,

At the time of sales, marked price of 900 gram = Rs. 1200

Selling price of 900 gram = Rs. 1080

Selling price of 1100 gram = Rs. 1320

∴ Profit = 1320 - 1000 = Rs. 320 

Profit percentage = 320 × (100/1000) = 32%
