A sold a bike to B at a price 10% higher. B sold the same bike to C at a price 20% higher. If the amount at which A purchased the bike is Rs. 70000. Find the price of the bike for C.  Correct Answer Rs. 92400

GIVEN :

A sold a bike to B at a price 10% higher

B sold the same bike to C at a price 20% higher

CP of A for bike is Rs. 70000

FORMULA USED :

SP = CP + profit

CALCULATION :

A sold the bike at 10% higher price

⇒ SP for A = 70000 + (10/100) × 70000 = Rs. 77000

B sold the bike at 20% higher price

⇒ SP of B = 77000 + (20/100) × 77000 = Rs. 92400

∴ CP of bike for C is Rs. 92400
