The scope has 8 milidots horizontally - 4 dots each on each the left and the right side of the cross aim based on the M40A3 rifle scope. Each gap between two dots represents 2 feet ( 21 inches ) at 600 yards. So, for example, if the wind blows 3 to 9 o' clock (right to left) between the target and you, you can calculate the target in your scope's half of the 1st left dot at about 3200 yards.
