I have this beautiful wool over coat that has no obvious stains or dirt, but smells awful. I've used vinegar, and tried leaving it outside to air out, but it still smells. What can I do?

Buy cheap vodka, put a spray nozzle in the bottle, and spray it. The alcohol will kill odors and the bacteria that caused them, but will eventually evaporate. This is what my friend who works in theater says they do with fancy costumes that can’t be washed.
