Option 3 : 7 hours

Relative speed of boat in upstream = 75 – 4 + 9 = 80 km/hr

Relative speed of boat in down stream = 75 + 4 – 9 = 70 km/hr

Let the time taken in upstream be x.

Atq,

80 × x + 70 (15 - x) = 1120

10x = 70

x = 7 hours
