Given:

A train departs from Indore at 12 pm for Delhi

After three hours, Another train leaves Delhi for Indore

Speed of trains that leaves Delhi for Indore = 15 km/hr + Speed of train that leaves Indore for Delhi

The distance between the cities is 1080 km 

Formula Used:

Distance = Speed × Time 

Calculation:

Let the speed of the train departed from Indore be S and time taken by it to reach midway be t

⇒ The speed of the train departs from Delhi = (S + 15)

⇒ Time taken by train departed from Delhi be = t - 3

We know that

According to the question

The train departed from Indore,

⇒ S = 540/t      --(1)

The train departed from Delhi

⇒ (S + 15) = 540/(t - 3)   

⇒ St - 3S + 15t - 45 = 540 

⇒ S - 5t + 15 = 0      --- (2)

By equation (1) and (2) we have

t2 - 3t - 108 = 0

⇒ (t - 12) × (t + 9) = 0

⇒ t = 12 hr (neglecting negative value of time)

∴  Time of meeting = 12 PM + 12 hour = 12 A.M.
