#কোন উপায় বা পদ্বতির মাধ্যমে বুঝাইতে তার আগে by বসে। যেমনঃ By hard labour.
পাশে বুঝাতে by বসে। যেমনঃ He sat by me.
মাধ্যম বুঝাতে by বসে। যেমনঃ Nipu achieved success by determination.
পথ অর্থে বুঝাতে by বসে। যেমনঃ I shall travel by road.
শপথ নেয়া বুঝাতে by বসে। যেমনঃ I swear by almighty Allah.
Passive Form-এ by বসে। যেমনঃ The work was done by me.
পরিমাপ বুঝাতে by বসে। যেমনঃ The room is 12 feet by 10 feet.
#যখন নির্দিষ্টভাবে কোনও ব্যক্তি, বস্ত অথবা শ্রেণীর কথা বলা হয় তখন সেই নির্দিষ্ট noun-এর অথবা noun-এর মতো কাজ করে এমন word-এর আগে the বসে । singular noun অথবা plural noun সব ক্ষেত্রেই the ব্যবহার করা হয় ।
