Concept Used:

Number of chamber = Total number of (fans + bulbs)/Sum of (fans + bulbs) in each chamber

Calculation:

According to the question, 

If the number of fan in a chamber be x 

Then, the number of bulb in a chamber be 2x

Now, take x = 1

Number of chamber = 30/(1 + 2) = 10

10 is not odd number.

Now, take x = 2

Number of chamber = 30/(2 + 4) = 5

5 is the odd number.

∴ The total number of chambers in the office is 5.
