Calculation:

The number of bulbs manufactured in year Y3 = 100000 × 30/100 = 30000

The number of bulbs manufactured in year Y5 = 100000 × 14/100 = 14000

Required difference = 14000 - 30000 = 16,000

∴ The difference in the number of bulbs manufactured in year Y3 and Y5 is 16,000.
