Average of n numbers = sum of all the numbers/n

Calculation:

Total number of car manufactured by A = 640 + 800 + 700 + 900 + 750 = 3790

Total number of car manufactured by B = 550 + 820 + 750 + 500 + 480 = 3100

J1 = A - B = 3790 - 3100 = 690

J2 = 3790/5 = 758

J2 - J1 = 758 - 690

∴ J2 - J1 = 68
