According to question;

Age of Y = X/2 years

And, Age of Y = 4 years

So, Age of X = Y × 2 

= 4 × 2 = 8 years

Age of X = V/2 years 

So, Age of V = X × 2 

= 8 × 2 = 16 years

Age of V = U/2 years

So, Age of U = V × 2 

= 16 × 2 = 32 years

Hence, Age of Y is 16 years.
