According to the question, we have

P = /5

⇒ 5P/2 = (Q + R)

Now,

P + Q + R =Rs. 8750

⇒ P + (5P/2) = 8750

⇒ 7P/2 = 8750

⇒ P = (8750 × 2)/7

⇒ P = 1250 × 2

⇒ P = Rs. 2,500
