From the problem, it is clear that after repairing the car covers distance ‘X’ in 6 hours travelling at a speed of 72 kmph
Distance ‘X’ = Speed × Time = 72 × 6 = 432 kms
Time taken to travel a distance of 3X (3 × 432 = 1296 kms) before repairing at a speed of 54kmph = 1296/54 = 24 hours
∴ Required Time = 24 hours
