Here, we will be using the concept of alligation.

Calculation:

Let x kg of pure ground nut added

In 20 kg,

80% is pure ground oil 

Pure ground nut oil = (80/100) × 20 = 16 kg

Impurity = (20/100) × 20 = 4 kg 

Now, 

When x kg of pure ground nut oil added 

Pure ground nut oil = x + 16 

Resulting mixture contains 95% pure ground nut oil

⇒ (95/100) × (x + 20)

⇒ x + 16 = 0.95 (x + 20)

⇒ x + 16 = 0.95x + 19 

⇒ 0.05x = 3

⇒ x = 60 

∴ 60 kg of pure oil ground nut added
