Stitching charges of tailor = Rs. 200
Calculation :
The shopkeeper sells 1-meter cloth using a 0.9-meter scale
⇒ In 1 unit cloth costing Rs. 80 Raju gets 0.9 meter cloth for Rs. 80.
Cloth required for 3 dresses = 3 × 3
⇒ 9 m
∵ 1 unit cloth contains 0.9-meter cloth
∴ x unit cloth contains 9-meter cloth.
⇒ x = (9 × 1)/0.9
⇒ x = 10 unit
⇒ Total cost of cloth = 10 × 80
⇒ Rs. 800
Total cost of stitching = 3 × 200
