The speed of Rashmi by cycle = 10 km/hr

Total distance = 70 km

Total time = 10 hours

Formula used:

Distance = Speed × time

Calculation:

Let the Rashmi walk for t hours

Then, Rashmi cycle for (10 - t) hours

Now, A/Q

5t + 10(10 - t) = 70

⇒ 5t + 100 - 10t = 70 

⇒ -5t = -30

⇒ t = 6

The distance covered by Rashmi by foot = 5 × 6 = 30 km
