Total expenditure when there are 15 guests = f + 15g = 15 × 70 = 1050      ---- (1)

Total expenditure when there are 25 guests = f + 25g = 25 × 50 = 1250      ---- (2)

Now, subtracting eq. (2) from eq. (1)

\Rightarrow 10g = 200 \Rightarrow g = 20 and f = 750

So, the total expenditure when there are 75 guests = f + 75g = 750 + 75 × 20 = Rs. 2250

Thus, the average expenditure per guest when there are 75 guests = Rs. 2250/75 = Rs. 30
