Calculation:

Let two years ago the total population of Bikaner be x.

Due to corona, 25% of the total population died in Bikaner

So the total number of people who died due to corona = (25 / 100) × x = x / 4

Now the remaining population of Bikaner = x – (x / 4) = 3x / 4

Every year the population increases by 6000.

Then the present age of Bikaner = (3x / 4) + 12000

Now the ratio between the people who died and the present population of Bikaner

⇒ (x / 4) ∶

But given ratio is 2 ∶ 9, so we compare both ratio

⇒ (x / 4) / = 2 / 9

⇒ 9x / 4 = (3x / 2) + 24000

⇒ (9x / 4) – (3x / 2) = 24000
