Let be assume the total number of employees in a company is 100x

⇒ The male in the company = 100x × (40/100) = 40x

⇒ The female in the company = 100x × (60/100) = 60x

⇒ The number of female from city R = 60x × (15/100) = 9x

⇒ The number of male from city R = 100x × (16/100) = 16x

⇒ The number of male who does not belongs to city R = 40x - 16x = 24x

⇒ The required percentage = (24x/9x) × 100 = (2.6̅ ) × 100 = 266.666%
