Calculation:

Total employees working in the Accounts department = 1800 × 18/100

⇒ 324

Total men in Accounts department = 324 × 5/9

⇒ 180

So, 10% of the men = 180 × 10/100 = 18

Total employees working in the HR department = 1800 × 14/100

⇒ 252

Total men in Accounts department = 252 × /14

⇒ 162

After increase total men = 162 + 18 = 180

Total employees working in the Production department = 1800 × 28/100

⇒ 504

Total female in Accounts department = 504 × 3/7

⇒ 216

1/4th of the female = 216 × 1/4

⇒ 54

Total employees working in the Marketing department = 1800 × 17/100

⇒ 306

Total female in Marketing department = 306 × 9/17

⇒ 162

After increase total female = 162 + 54 = 216

Difference = 216 - 180 = 36

Required % = (36/216) × 100
