FORMULA:

Average = (Total sum of observations) / (Total number of observations).

Given:

Expenditure of first 6th month = Rs. 76310

Expenditure of last 6th month = Rs. 87940

Calculation:

Total expenditure in one year

= 76310 + 87940

= 164250

Average daily expenditure is 

= (Total expenditure) / (Total days )

= 164250 / 365

= 450 

Hence, the average daily expenditure of a man in 2017 is "Rs 450".
