GIVEN :

Rajesh’s present age is 8/7 times of his age at the time of marriage.

ASSUMPTION :

Let the present age of Rajesh be x.

 

CALCULATION :

x = (8/7) × (x – 7)

⇒ x = 56 years

So at the time of marriage his brother’s age = (x – 7) – 5 = 44 years

Present age of his brother = 44 + 7 = 51 years

∴ Age of his brother after 10 years = 61 years.
