Let the amount of three mixtures be 2a, 3a and 5a respectively.

Amount of alcohol in the resulting mixture = (2a × 1/6 + 3a × 2/3 + 5a × 3/5)

⇒ a/3 + 2a + 3a = 16a/3

Amount of the wine in the resulting mixture = (2a × 5/6 + 3a × 1/3 + 5a × 2/5)

⇒ 5a/3 + a + 2a = 14a/3

Required ratio = 16a/3 : 14a/3

⇒ 16 : 14

⇒ 8 : 7

∴ The ratio of alcohol and wine in the resulting mixture will be 8 : 7.
