Given,

⇒ Selling price of 1 kg turmeric mixture = Rs. 63

⇒ Profit % = 5%

⇒ {(63 – C.P)/C.P} × 100 = 5

⇒ C.P = 1260 – 20C.P

⇒ C.P = 60

By using rule of allegation,

⇒ Ratio of turmeric 1 to turmeric 2 in the mixture = (65 – 60) ∶ (60 – 50) = 5 ∶ 10 = 1 ∶ 2

⇒ Required percentage = (1/3) × 100 = 33.33%
