Given,

Let salary of Ram and Sham be Rs. R and Rs. S respectively.

⇒ R + S = 66000

⇒ R = S + S × 20/100

⇒ R = 6S/5

Then,

⇒ 6S/5 + S = 66000

⇒ 11S = 66000 × 5

⇒ S = 30000

⇒ R = 36000

Both save 30% of their salary means both spends 70% of their salary.

Ram’s expenditure = 70/100 × 36000 = 25200

Sham's expenditure = 70/100 × 30000 = 21000

Required percentage = (21000/25200) × 100 = 83.33%
