How to Play Slap Jack

Slap jack is a fast-paced card game for two or more players. It is ideal for children or adults and requires a standard 52-card deck, shuffled and ready to be played.

Instructions

1. Divide the deck evenly among all players. The remaining cards will form the “draw pile” or “center pile.”
2. The player to the left of the dealer begins by drawing a card from the draw pile and laying it face-up in the center.
3. The player to the left of the one who laid down the card then draws a card from his pile and adds it to the center pile.
4. Continue until a Jack is drawn. The first person to slap the Jack takes all of the center cards and adds them to the bottom of the pile in their hand.
5. If a player mistakenly slaps a card other than a Jack, they must add two of their own cards to the center pile.
6. Continue the game until one player has all the cards.
