Use a bigger piece of paper, perhaps 0.5 cm larger on both sides for the square box, and increase the ratio of the starting paper for the rectangular boxes. For example, for A4, the dimensions are 29.7 : 21 cm. Increase both by, say, 1.05 and you have 31.2: 22.1 cm.
