Does this apply to only the original Furbies? Does this also apply to the 2005 Furby? I have a 2005 Furby that has a loose battery lid that won’t stay down when batteries are installed. Can I fix it?

Yes. They should be quite similar. As for the battery lid, there might be a part missing that would be hard for you to fix yourself. I suggest using clear packing tape.
