Are tunic tops good for petites? I am 5 feet tall and would like to know if tunic tops would look good on me.

I'm 5'3" with a slim build. The only time I wear tunic tops is if i'm wearing slim-fitting capris and a sandal with a heel. I avoid wearing tunic tops with my long pants because that much of a "long look" overwhelms my short build.
