To see if you're allergic to the natural dye you're using, do a patch test. Clean an area of your skin, like behind your ear or on the inside of your arm, and let it dry completely. Then, use a cotton ball to apply the natural hair dye to that area. Wait 24 hours. If you haven't experienced any bumps, swelling, or coughing, it's safe to assume you're not allergic to that dye.
